RVE.SOL is a for-profit social enterprise that seeks to alleviate poverty and drive economic empowerment in rural communities by providing sustainable, universal basic utility access (UBUA) to all. To accomplish this, they designed the KUDURA system, a pay-as-you-go solar photovoltaic mini-grid platform that integrates several green utilities into a single containerised, community-managed solution. KUDURA provides renewable energy, clean water, and green cooking fuels on a decentralised basis, to empower rural livelihoods and eradicate poverty.
